Waterworld Canoe Center, Deje
This newly developed Center is situated in a unique area for canoeing and kayaking. An area where you can spend a day or several days canoeing on one of the largest rivers of Scandinavia ( Klarälven) and a network of lakes and small rivers (Lusten, Västra and Östra Örten and Gräsmången) Enjoy the sceney of this almost uninhabited part of Värmland with several nature reserve (Pannkakans, Torrakberget and Råglandaberget) and historical sites.Just 30 km from Karlstad on the Klarälven is WCC located. It’s a startingpoint for a day trip canoeing around the island “Pankakans”, which is a nature reserve or go further to lake Lusten. It is also possible to go for more days towards Älvsbacka, a combination of lakes and small streams, and camp out in the surrounding forest.
We offer 1,2 and 3 person kayaks and 4 persons canoes. If you want to go for more days we can provide you with camping gear and can arrange transport back to Deje. To walk around the nature reserve “Pankakans”, our raft can bring you there crossing the Klarälven.
